ACM of the University of Alabama

E-day Thursday, October 7, 2004

"E-Day" is "Engineering Day", a day when many prospective engineering students come to The University of Alabama and visit our College. This event is held every year, and the ACM wants to be well represented. To this end, we are asking that all SIGs have something to present for E-day. Here is a brief list of SIG projects currently in the works.

SIG.Cluster - SIG.Cluster will be presenting their self-constructed parallel computing platform and demonstrate its capabilities as a miniture supercomputer.

SIG.Compiler - SIG.Compiler will be presenting their toy compilers.

SIG.LUG - SIG.LUG will be in the vicinity to evangelize linux.

SIG.Math - SIG.Math will have pretty equations.
